Special Notes:

Allows a distributor to claim Design Win financial incentives upon successfully meeting criteria for the incentives.  The supplier responds by either approving the claim or denying the claim.

Step Description
1. - 4. The graphic above depicts the Design Win scenario.  See Distributor Scenario 2 for information about the adjacent component models.
5. This model:  When the distributor has satisfied the criteria for Design Win incentive awards, the distributor sends a Design Win claim to the component supplier, and the component supplier sends back a response; the response may approve or deny a claim. A denial may occur if the distributor and supplier are not in agreement about whether the criteria for incentives have been met, either due to data being out of synch, or if the partners do not have a common understanding of the criteria for incentive awards.
